New Zealand Pounamu (Greenstone) Muri Paraoa (Whale Tail) Necklace. Approx 45mm x 33mm. Comes on an adjustable slip knot black waxed cord.
This pendant has a polished finish and is a mid-dark green colour with lighter flecks through it.
Whale Tail - Muri Paraoa - meaning speed and strength, also a symbol of protection. It expresses the respect for the sea and nature and is used as a symbol of good luck for providing safe passage over water.
